SEE ALSO...

twist Antibody (Twist2C1a) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects twist protein in mouse, rat, and human samples through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). anti-twist antibody (Twist2C1a) is available as a non-conjugated format. twist protein, a member of the basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcription factor family, plays a crucial role in regulating mesodermal differentiation and myogenesis, making twist essential for proper muscle development. twist protein is primarily expressed in the epithelial somite, where twist acts as a negative regulator of myogenic regulatory factors by dimerizing with E proteins, thereby inhibiting their function. This regulatory mechanism is vital for the temporal and spatial formation of myotomes, as twist ensures that muscle tissue develops correctly from the embryonic mesoderm. twist interaction with other proteins in the myogenic determination family highlights twist importance in muscle cell lineage specification and differentiation, underscoring twist significance in developmental biology and potential implications in muscle-related disorders.
