QUICK LINKS

Tulathromycin A is a triamilide antibiotic. Tulathromycin exists as an equilibrium mixture of two isomeric forms, Tulathromycin A (90%) and B (10%). Tulathromycin A functions by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis by targeting the 50S ribosomal subunit. Tulathromycin A is most effective against M. haemolytica and P. multocida, the common factors in respiratory tract infections in cattle and swine.
