    SEE ALSO...

TSSC3 Antibody (5E3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects TSSC3 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-TSSC3 antibody (5E3) is available as a non-conjugated format. TSSC3 protein, also known as PHLDA2 (pleckstrin homology-like domain family A member 2), BWR1C, HLDA2, or IPL, plays a crucial role in regulating fetal and placental growth, making TSSC3 essential for normal human development. This cytoplasmic protein is predominantly expressed in the placenta and adult prostate, with lower levels found in the liver, lung, and brain. TSSC3 functions as an apoptosis-related protein and acts as a negative growth regulator, which is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis during development. Notably, TSSC3 is imprinted on the placenta, liver, and fetal tissues during embryogenesis, and TSSC3 expression is tightly regulated, being removed once development is complete. Alterations or defects in the gene encoding TSSC3 have been linked to various health issues, including lung, ovarian, and breast cancer, rhabdomyosarcoma, Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome, Wilms tumor, low birth weight, and adrenocortical carcinoma, highlighting TSSC3′s importance in both developmental biology and cancer research.
