Tryprostatin A is a diketopiperazine. Arrests cell cycle progression at the G2/M phase. Inhibits the ABC-transporter breast cancer resistance protein and thereby reverses the resistance of cancer cells against antitumor drugs. Inhibitor of MAP-dependent microtubule assembly.
