Can I kindly ask the peptide sequence of your old TRP2 Antibody (D-18): sc-10451? Do you have any replacement (not mouse) which recognizes the same sequence? This was a very specific antibody and I could not find a good replacement so far...Thank you, E.

Thank you for your question. The exact peptide sequence used to develop this now discontinued polyclonal antibody is considered proprietary. We do offer several new mouse monoclonal antibodies raised against the same sequence. We do not currently offer any TRP2 antibodies raised in a different species other than mouse. Please contact our Technical Service for further support.

How does this antibody (TRP2, D-18) work for Hela cells that do not express TRP2?

Thank you for your question. We are not aware of any reference indicating that TRP2 (Tyrosinase-related protein 2), also designated DCT (L-dopachrome tautomerase) is not expressed in HeLa cells. If you have such a reference, please share it with our Technical Service Department and we would be happy to work with our Cell Culture lab to request more information about the testing of the antibody in HeLa cells for immunofluorescence. Please note that this polyclonal antibody is now discontinued. After end of production of this great one, I have tested 3 other anti-TRP2 antibodies which their data sheets say available for ICC/IF in mouse only to have found no signal so far...I strongly hope santacruz resume it's production.
