Troponin T-C Antibody (A-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects Troponin T in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Troponin T plays a critical role in muscle contraction by anchoring the troponin complex to actin filaments, facilitating interaction between actin and myosin during muscle contraction. Troponin T is predominantly located in cardiac and skeletal muscle tissues, where Troponin T is essential for regulating muscle contraction in response to calcium levels. Elevated Troponin T levels in the bloodstream serve as a key biomarker for myocardial infarction, making Troponin T an important target for clinical diagnostics. Troponin T′s structure includes a unique C-terminal domain that interacts with tropomyosin, stabilizing actin filaments and enabling proper muscle contraction. Anti-Troponin T antibody (A-11) proves valuable in both research and clinical applications due to Troponin T′s crucial role in muscle physiology and pathology through tropomyosin binding and troponin complex formation.
