Tris(4-isopropylphenyl) phosphate (IPP) is an ester of isopropyl alcohol and phenyl phosphate, and can be used as a substrate for various enzymes, as a reagent for the synthesis of organic compounds, and as a catalyst in organic reactions. It is also used in the study of biochemical and physiological processes, such as the regulation of enzyme activity and the effects of environmental stress on cells. Furthermore, it has been employed to investigate the effects of aging and radiation on cells.
