Tripropylene glycol is used in textile soaps, lubricants, cutting oils, and greases. This compound serves as an intermediate in the synthesis of urethanes. Tripropylene glycol is used as a solvent in coatings and inks. Additionally, as varnish removers, emulsifiers, and hydraulic fluids. It acts as an additive for carburetor fuels. Moreover, tripropylene glycol serves as a cooling media and functions as an active ingredient in plasticizers.
