    SEE ALSO...

TRIM68 Antibody (5G2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects TRIM68 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-TRIM68 antibody (5G2) is available as the non-conjugated format. TRIM68, also known as tripartite motif-containing protein 68 or RNF137, is a 485 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular processes by localizing to the perinuclear region of the cytoplasm. This localization positions TRIM68 to interact with various nuclear proteins, including the androgen receptor (AR), thereby enhancing AR′s transcriptional activity, which is vital for regulating gene expression in response to androgens. TRIM68 is expressed in multiple tissues, with notably higher levels in the prostate, spleen, and fetal liver, and TRIM68′s involvement in the modulation of AR activity links TRIM68 to prostate cancer, where TRIM68 is often overexpressed. Furthermore, TRIM68 has been implicated in autoimmune responses, particularly in conditions such as systemic lupus erythematosus, primary Sjögren syndrome, and HIV-1 infection, making TRIM68 a potential therapeutic target for both cancer and autoimmune diseases.
