Trifloxysulfuron Sodium Salt is a herbicidal compound. It hinders plant growth by disrupting the process of photosynthesis. In a study, it was observed that when applied to perennial ryegrass it decrease the photosynthesis rate while promoting respiration. Trifloxysulfuron sodium salt exhibits detectability at extremely low levels in deionized water and demonstrates its inhibitory effect on photosynthetic activity in ryegrass even at concentrations as low as 0.01 µM.
