Traxoprodil is an NR2B antagonist that has been used as an antidepressant in subjects that are unresponsive to a serotonin selective reuptake inhibitor. It is also an NMDA glutamate antagonist that has been used to decrease levodopa-induced (sc-205372) dyskinesia in Parkinson′s Disease patients, but it was shown to also increase dissociation and amnesiain a dose-realted manner.
