TRAP150 Antibody (F-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TRAP150 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TRAP150 (F-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TRAP150 plays a crucial role in regulating transcription within mammalian cells, functioning as part of the thyroid hormone receptor-associated protein (TRAP) complex. The TRAP complex comprises several proteins, including TRAP95, TRAP100, TRAP150, TRAP220, and TRAP230, characterized by a nuclear receptor recognition motif enabling ligand-dependent binding to nuclear receptors. TRAP150 interacts with other transcriptional coactivating complexes, such as the SMCC (SRB and MED protein cofactor complex), vital for transcriptional regulation of genes in response to hormonal signals.
