    SEE ALSO...

TMX3 Antibody (G-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TMX3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TMX3 (G-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TMX3 protein, also known as thioredoxin domain-containing protein 10, protein disulfide-isomerase TMX3, PDIA13, or TXNDC10, is a 454 amino acid single-pass endoplasmic reticulum membrane protein that plays a crucial role in proper protein folding within the cell. TMX3 belongs to the protein disulfide isomerase family and is characterized by the presence of a thioredoxin domain, which enables functioning as a dithiol oxidase and disulfide isomerase. This function is vital for maintaining cellular redox homeostasis and facilitating disulfide bond rearrangement, which is essential for structural integrity and functionality of many proteins. TMX3 is widely expressed in various tissues, with highest levels found in the eye, placenta, muscle, brain, testis, lung, uterus, kidney, stomach, prostate, bone, and liver, and is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 18.
