SEE ALSO...

TM4SF4 Antibody (4E6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects TM4SF4 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-TM4SF4 antibody (4E6) is available as a non-conjugated format. TM4SF4, also known as intestine and liver tetraspan membrane protein (ILTMP), is a 202 amino acid multi-pass membrane protein that plays a crucial role in regulating density-dependent cell proliferation and the adhesive and proliferative states of intestinal epithelial cells. Located primarily in the jejunum and liver, TM4SF4 is a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily, which is characterized by four hydrophobic domains that facilitate signal transduction. TM4SF4 undergoes post-translational N-linked glycosylation at two specific sites, a modification essential for growth inhibitory effects. TM4SF4 gene is mapped to human chromosome 3q25, highlighting significance in cellular processes and potential implications in various diseases.
