Thonzonium bromide (TBr) is used in a variety of scientific research applications, such as in organic synthesis, analytical chemistry, and biochemistry. It is employed in organic synthesis as an alkylating agent and in analytical chemistry for detecting organic compounds additionally, it is used as an enzyme inhibitor in biochemistry and a reagent for synthesizing peptides, proteins, and other organic substances.
