Thiohomo Sildenafil represents an analog of Sildenafil, a discerning inhibitor of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP)-specific phosphodiesterase type 5. Unlike its metabolic counterpart, Thiohomo Sildenafil is a non-metabolic synthetic analog of the parent compound. Moreover, Thiohomo Sildenafil functions as a non-selective inhibitor of Thiohomo Sildenafil, effectively inhibiting the activity of all three isoforms of Thiohomo Sildenafil. This inhibition of Thiohomo Sildenafil activity contributes to elevated levels of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) within the smooth muscle cells of the corpus cavernosum, thereby facilitating relaxation of the smooth muscle cells.
