Tetanus Toxoid Antibody (10.D6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Tetanus Toxoid of Clostridium tetani by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Tetanus Toxoid antibody (10.D6) plays a crucial role in tetanus prevention studies by targeting the inactivated form of tetanospasmin toxin produced by Clostridium tetani, a gram-positive, motile, obligate anaerobe commonly found in soil and animal feces. Tetanus Toxoid monoclonal antibody (10.D6) recognizes tetanospasmin toxin, which cleaves synaptobrevin II, a vital protein component of synaptic vesicles, disrupting inhibitory interneuron function in the central nervous system and leading to severe muscle contractions characteristic of tetanus. Tetanus Toxoid (10.D6) antibody targets the toxoid derived through formaldehyde treatment, which maintains immunogenic properties while becoming non-toxic. Tetanus Toxoid (10.D6) monoclonal antibody proves invaluable for research and clinical applications aimed at enhancing vaccine efficacy and understanding immune responses to tetanus, ultimately contributing to better prevention strategies against this life-threatening disease.
