Tefluthrin, a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide and acaricide. This versatile insecticide effectively combats various pests, encompassing mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, and other insects. It plays a pivotal role in controlling household insects and serves as a component in numerous household insecticides. It′s designed for the control of a variety of insect pests in soil or on foliage in a wide range of crops, utilizing its action to disrupt the normal functioning of the nervous system in insects. By binding to sodium channels in the insect′s nerve cells, it interferes with the transmission of nerve signals, leading to paralysis and subsequent death.
