TCR V γ 3 Antibody (536) is a hamster monoclonal IgG antibody that detects TCR V gamma 3 protein of mouse origin by immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry (FCM). Anti-TCR V γ 3 antibody (536) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The T cell antigen receptor (TCR) plays a crucial role in the immune response by recognizing a diverse array of foreign antigens, which is essential for the activation of T cells and the subsequent immune response. The TCR is a heterodimer that can be composed of either alpha and beta or gamma and delta chains, with the majority of T cells (approximately 95%) expressing the alpha/beta heterodimer, while a smaller subset (about 2-5%) expresses the gamma/delta heterodimer. The ability of TCRs to recognize a wide variety of antigens is achieved through the somatic recombination of variable (V), diversity (D), and joining (J) gene segments during TCR chain assembly. The TCR gamma chain is unique in that it is composed solely of V and J segments, which allows for a streamlined process of generating diverse TCRs. Understanding the structure and function of TCRs, including TCR V gamma 3, is vital for developing targeted immunotherapies and enhancing our knowledge of immune system dynamics.

How can TCR V γ 3 (536): sc-53027 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

Asked by: jerojero
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-53027 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-53027 FITC).
