TCR γ/δ Antibody (GL3) is a hamster monoclonal IgG antibody that detects TCR γ/δ in mouse samples through immunofluorescence (IF) and flow cytometry (FCM) applications. TCR γ/δ is a crucial component of the immune system, primarily expressed on a subset of T cells that play a significant role in the recognition of non-peptide antigens, such as those derived from microbial sources. Unlike the more common TCR α/β, TCR γ/δ T cells are known for their ability to respond rapidly to infections and stress signals, making these cells essential for the early immune response. TCR γ/δ T cells are predominantly located in epithelial tissues, such as the skin and gut, where these cells contribute to the first line of defense against pathogens. The unique localization of TCR γ/δ T cells allows direct interaction with infected or transformed cells, facilitating immediate immune responses. TCR γ/δ T cells can produce a variety of cytokines and chemokines, further enhancing their role in immune regulation and tissue homeostasis. Anti-TCR γ/δ antibody (GL3) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying the dynamics of these specialized T cells and their contributions to immune responses in various disease contexts.
