Tβ-10 Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Thymosin β-10 (Tβ-10) in mouse, rat, and human samples by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Tβ-10 antibody (D-6) is available in non-conjugated form and conjugated to agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® variants. Tβ-10 is a key member of the β-thymosin family, functioning as a monomeric G-actin sequestering protein in the cytoplasm that regulates actin dynamics. Tβ-10 (D-6) antibody recognizes a 43-amino acid protein that forms α-helical structures crucial for actin interaction. Tβ-10 functions as an actin-mediated tumor suppressor, inhibiting endothelial cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and tube formation when overexpressed. Studies in human ovarian cancer cells show Tβ-10 increases apoptosis frequency, suggesting potential therapeutic applications. Tβ-10 interacts with Ras to inhibit downstream signaling pathways affecting angiogenesis and tumor growth, likely through downregulation of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), VEGF receptor-1 (VEGFR-1), and Integrin αV, indicating significance in anticancer therapy and as a cancer progression biomarker.
