    SEE ALSO...

Tak1L Antibody (G-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Tak1L protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Tak1L (G-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Tak1L protein, also known as C21orf7, is a 242 amino acid protein that shares significant homology with the C-terminal tail of Tak1, a key player in the TGFβ signaling pathway. Tak1L is predominantly expressed in peripheral blood leukocytes and shows strong expression in adenocarcinomic cell lines such as GI-112 and PC-3, as well as in the carcinomic cell line GI-101. Understanding Tak1L structure is crucial, as Tak1L is believed to play a role in modulating the activity of other kinases involved in signal transduction, particularly in the context of cancer biology. Structural similarities between Tak1 and Tak1L suggest Tak1L may also participate in the activation of the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathway, which is essential for various cellular processes, including proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Using anti-Tak1L antibody (G-8) in research can provide insights into Tak1L functional roles and potential implications in disease mechanisms, particularly in cancer.
