    SEE ALSO...

T-FABP Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects T-FABP of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-T-FABP antibody (B-4) is available as the non-conjugated form. T-FABP, also known as FABP9 or Testis lipid-binding protein, plays a crucial role in the transport and metabolism of fatty acids within testicular germ cells during spermatogenesis. T-FABP facilitates the uptake and intracellular trafficking of fatty acids, which are essential for energy production and cellular signaling in developing germ cells. By mediating the transport of these lipids, T-FABP contributes to the proper development and maturation of sperm, highlighting its importance in male fertility. Expression of T-FABP remains tightly regulated and specific to testicular tissues, underscoring its role in reproductive biology. T-FABP′s ability to interact with various hydrophobic ligands further emphasizes its significance in lipid metabolism and cellular function.
