    STK19 Antibody (3B6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects STK19 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-STK19 antibody (3B6) is available as the non-conjugated format. STK19, also known as serine/threonine kinase 19, G11, RP1, D6S60, D6S60E, or HLA-RP1, is a crucial 368 amino acid protein that plays a significant role in cellular signaling pathways by catalyzing the phosphorylation of serine and threonine residues on target proteins, including histones and caseins. This phosphorylation is vital for regulating various cellular processes such as cell division, differentiation, DNA repair, and transcription, making STK19 an important player in maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to external stimuli. Located primarily in the nucleus, STK19 is expressed in various cell types, including monocytes, hepatocytes, epithelial cells, and T- and B-lymphocytes, and functions in an ATP-dependent manner, utilizing divalent cations like manganese as cofactors. Additionally, the existence of multiple isoforms of STK19 due to alternative splicing events adds complexity to its regulatory functions, highlighting its importance in diverse biological contexts.
