    SEE ALSO...

Stat6 Antibody (8C12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Stat6 in human and canine samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Stat6 plays a crucial role in mediating the effects of interleukin-4 (IL-4) and interleukin-13 (IL-13), which are key cytokines involved in the immune response and regulation of inflammation. Upon activation by these cytokines, Stat6 undergoes phosphorylation, leading to dimerization and subsequent translocation to the nucleus, where Stat6 regulates the expression of genes associated with Th2 cell differentiation and allergic responses. The significance of Stat6 in these processes highlights potential therapeutic applications in conditions such as asthma and other allergic diseases. Anti-Stat6 antibody (8C12) provides reliable detection and characterization of Stat6, facilitating research into immune signaling pathways and disease mechanisms.

I am using Stat6 (8C12): sc-81539 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

    Asked by: Germaine
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
