Spiclomazine is a derivative of phenothiazine. Spiclomazine is involved in the inhibition of the enzyme acetylcholinesterase, which is responsible for the breakdown of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. By inhibiting this enzyme, Spiclomazine increases the amount of acetylcholine in the body, which affects a variety of physiological processes, including the transmission of nerve impulses and the regulation of muscle contractions.
