    SEE ALSO...

Sox-21 Antibody (2G10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody engineered to detect human Sox-21 protein with exceptional accuracy in a variety of applications, including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Sox-21 monoclonal antibody (2G10) is raised against amino acids 224-265 of the partial length Sox-21 protein from human origin. Anti-Sox-21 antibody (2G10) exhibits strong species reactivity, effectively recognizing Sox-21 from mouse, rat, and human origins, making it a versatile tool for diverse research needs. Sox-21 protein, also called Sox25, is a member of the SRY-related HMG-box (Sox) family of transcription factors, characterized by the High-Mobility Group (HMG) domain that facilitates sequence-specific DNA binding and induces conformational changes in DNA structure, thereby regulating the transcription of target genes involved in cell fate determination and developmental processes. Sox-21 interacts with several key proteins, including co-activators such as CBP/p300, which enhance transcriptional activity, and repressors like Groucho/TLE, which modulate gene expression regulation. Sox-21 forms complexes with other transcription factors such as Pax-6 and Neuro D, which are crucial for neural development and differentiation. These protein-protein interactions are essential for Sox-21′s role in orchestrating complex gene regulatory networks that govern cellular differentiation, proliferation, and apoptosis during embryonic development and tissue homeostasis. Understanding the interactions between Sox-21 and binding partners is vital for elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying developmental processes and disease states, including cancer and developmental disorders. Sox-21 monoclonal antibody (2G10) is available in a non-conjugated form, providing flexibility for various experimental setups, and serves as an indispensable tool for scientists aiming to elucidate the intricate regulatory networks governed by Sox-21.

I am using Sox-21 (2G10): sc-293461 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

    Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
