    SEE ALSO...

SNAPC 19 Antibody (9K8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects SNAPC 19 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-SNAPC 19 antibody (9K8) is available as the non-conjugated format. SNAPC 19 plays a crucial role in gene transcription regulation, particularly in assembling the snRNA-activating protein complex (SNAPC), which is essential for RNA polymerase II and III transcription. SNAPC 19 binds to a non-TATA-box proximal sequence element, facilitating recruitment of transcription factors such as Oct-1 and TATA-box binding protein (TBP). SNAPC 19′s interaction with Oct-1 enhances transcriptional activation of small nuclear RNAs (snRNAs) by stabilizing binding of these factors to respective DNA elements. SNAPC 19 contributes to SNAPC complex assembly, which consists of five subunits of varying sizes, each contributing to overall transcription regulator functionality. Understanding SNAPC 19′s role in transcription regulation provides insights into gene expression mechanisms and potential implications in various biological processes and diseases.
