SK&F 96365, also known as SKF 96365 is a selective, novel calcium channel protein inhibitor. In stimulated endothelial cells, neutrophils, and platelets, it inhibits receptor-mediated calcium entry at concentrations that do not affect the internal release of Ca2+. SK&F 9636 has also been found to inhibit voltage-gated Ca2+ entry in excitable cells. Additionally, it has been discovered to inhibit TRPC3 and TRPC6 activation and acts as an inhibitor of Stim 1.
