SerpinB1 Antibody (4D7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects SerpinB1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-SerpinB1 antibody (4D7) is available as a non-conjugated format. SerpinB1, also known as monocyte/neutrophil elastase inhibitor (M/NEI) or leukocyte elastase inhibitor (LEI), plays a crucial role in regulating the activity of neutrophil elastase, cathepsin G, and proteinase-3, which are important for maintaining homeostasis in inflammatory responses. By inhibiting these serine proteases, SerpinB1 helps to control tissue damage during inflammation and prevents excessive proteolytic activity that can lead to chronic inflammatory diseases.
