SerpinA3g Antibody (MoFo29.2) is a hamster monoclonal IgG antibody that detects SerpinA3g protein of mouse origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-SerpinA3g antibody (MoFo29.2) is available as a non-conjugated format, providing researchers with a reliable tool for studying this important protein. SerpinA3g, also known as Spi2A, plays a crucial role in regulating various biological processes, including immune responses and inflammation. This serine proteinase inhibitor is primarily located in the nucleus, where SerpinA3g is expressed at high levels in hematopoietic progenitors and is down-regulated during differentiation. SerpinA3g′s unique structure includes an unusual reactive site Cys-Cys sequence and a distinctive C-terminal extension, which contribute to functional versatility. Notably, SerpinA3g is dramatically up-regulated upon T-cell activation and in macrophages during infections with pathogens such as Salmonella typhimurium and Listeria monocytogenes. SerpinA3g is activated by interferon-gamma and nuclear factor kappa B, suggesting involvement in mediating biological effects through interactions with non-protease intracellular targets. SerpinA3g (MoFo29.2) antibody enables researchers to gain valuable insights into SerpinA3g′s role in immune regulation and potential implications in disease processes.

I am using SerpinA3g (MoFo29.2): sc-57013 antibody for immunoprecipitation, how much antibody should I use?

Asked by: AbPolly
Thank you for your question. We recommend using 1–10 µl (i.e., 0.2–2 µg) of antibody with 1 ml of cell lysate. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration.
