Seratrodast, also known as AA-2414, is a potent and selective antagonist of the thromboxane A2 receptor. Seratrodast is described to produce antioxidant effects, and is demonstrated to inhibit peroxide-induced vasoconstriction in human placenta. Additionally, it inhibit bronchoconstriction in guinea pigs in response to leukotriene D4, U-46619, and platelet activating factor.
