    SEE ALSO...

SEMA4G Antibody (C-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects SEMA4G protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-SEMA4G antibody (C-12) is available as a non-conjugated format. SEMA4G protein, also known as semaphorin-4G, is an 838 amino acid single-pass type I membrane protein that plays a crucial role in axon guidance, a process essential for proper development of the nervous system. SEMA4G exists in three alternatively spliced isoforms and features one immunoglobulin-like C2-type domain, a PSI domain, and a single sema domain, which are important for function in mediating cell signaling and interactions. These domains allow SEMA4G to interact with specific receptors on the surface of neurons, facilitating attraction or repulsion of axons during neural network formation. Understanding SEMA4G function is vital, as SEMA4G contributes to intricate processes of neural development and may have implications in neurodevelopmental disorders.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-515644 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
