SEE ALSO...

SDF-4 Antibody (E-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects SDF-4 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-SDF-4 antibody (E-12) is available as the non-conjugated monoclonal isotype antibody. SDF-4, also known as Cab45, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling and is characterized by six EF-hand calcium-binding motifs, which are essential for calcium-dependent processes. SDF-4 is predominantly localized in the Golgi apparatus, where SDF-4 regulates various calcium-dependent activities, influencing cellular responses to external stimuli. SDF-4′s ability to modulate calcium signaling is particularly important in immune responses, affecting migration and activation of immune cells. With widespread expression and functional significance, SDF-4 serves as a key player in the chemokine network, contributing to immune cell trafficking and activation in various physiological and pathological contexts.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-393930 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
