SDF-2 Antibody (J-22) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects SDF-2 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-SDF-2 antibody (J-22) is available as the non-conjugated form. SDF-2, also known as stromal cell-derived factor-2, plays a crucial role in various biological processes, particularly in the regulation of immune responses and cellular signaling pathways. This 211 amino acid protein is characterized by the presence of three MIR domains and is expressed throughout the body, indicating importance in maintaining physiological functions. SDF-2 shares 92% sequence similarity with mouse counterpart, suggesting a conserved function across mammalian species. SDF-2 secretory nature allows involvement in both exocrine and endocrine signaling, facilitating export of enzymes, hormones, and other signaling molecules into bloodstream or ducts. This export is vital for proper functioning of numerous physiological processes, including hormone regulation and immune system modulation, highlighting SDF-2 significance in health and disease.
