SCG10 Antibody (2-RE19) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects SCG10 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-SCG10 antibody (2-RE19) is available as the non-conjugated format. SCG10 protein, also known as stathmin-like 2 (STMN2), plays a crucial role in neuronal development as a neuronal growth-associated protein (nGAP) belonging to the stathmin family. This family of phosphoproteins is essential for the regulation of microtubule dynamics and signal transduction, which are vital processes in cellular function. SCG10 is specifically localized to the membrane and is neuron-specific, indicating importance in neuronal differentiation and potential role in modulating interaction between membranes and cytoskeleton during neurite outgrowth.
