SB 203580 (hydrochloride) is a pyridinyl imidazole inhibitor that displays a capacity to suppress proliferative activity on cytokine-activated lymphocytes. The same experiment has also shown that SB 203580 can inhibit the key cell cycle event of retinoblastoma protein phosphorylation in interleukin-2-stimulated T cells via inhibition of protein kinase B kinase. In addition, SB 203580, has been found to suppress the activation of mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs). MAPKs have been found to regulate cell motility, differentiation, survival, and proliferation, therefore their inhibition can have a wide range of effects. We supply the SB203580 hydrochloride form.
