(S)-(+)-α-Fluoromethylhistidine Dihydrochloride (α-FMH) is a histidine carboxylase (HDC) inhibitor. By inhibiting HDC, (S)-(+)-α-Fluoromethylhistidine Dihydrochloride can decrease the level of histamine in the body, which can affect allergies, inflammation, and other conditions mediated by histamine.
