SEE ALSO...

RUNX2 Antibody (27-K) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects RUNX2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-RUNX2 antibody (27-K) is available as the non-conjugated form. RUNX2, a member of the Runt-related transcription factor family, plays a critical role in skeletal development and mineralization by regulating osteoblast differentiation from mesenchymal stem cells. RUNX2 (27-K) monoclonal antibody targets a transcription factor that′s pivotal for bone formation, chondrocyte hypertrophy, and endothelial cell migration - essential processes in skeletal system development. Proper functioning of RUNX2 is vital, as dysregulation can lead to severe skeletal disorders, including cleidocranial dysplasia syndrome, characterized by abnormal bone development and dental anomalies. RUNX2 interacts with various proteins, including osterix and β-catenin, which are crucial for bone formation and remodeling. Understanding these interactions and regulatory mechanisms helps researchers explore potential therapeutic strategies to enhance bone regeneration and treat related disorders.
