RRP9 Antibody (C-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RRP9 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RRP9 (C-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RRP9 protein, also known as ribosomal RNA processing 9, small subunit processome component, RNU3IP2, or U355K, is a crucial 475 amino acid nucleolar protein that plays a significant role in the modification and processing of precursor ribosomal RNA (rRNA). Specifically, RRP9 is a component of a small nucleolar ribonucleoprotein particle (snoRNP) and is essential for interacting with the U3 snoRNA complex, binding to a fragment known as 3UBC, which contains a box B/C motif. The functionality of RRP9 in pre-rRNA processing is contingent upon the presence of the snRNP protein NHPX, which binds to the B/C motif, and a conserved tertiary structure that flanks this motif. The interaction between RRP9 and 3UBC is vital for the proper processing of rRNA, underscoring RRP9′s importance in ribosome biogenesis. Additionally, RRP9 contains seven WD repeats that are critical for nucleolar localization and U3 snoRNA binding, highlighting RRP9′s structural significance in cellular processes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really good results1e6 from mock (shRNA empty) and 1e6 cells from shRNA against RRP9 were extracted using RIPA and TCA precipitated. The Antibody dilution was 1:100, we did not observe signal in a dilution 1:1000
