    SEE ALSO...

RP1 Antibody (F-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RP1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RP1 (F-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RP1 plays a crucial role in regulating microtubule dynamics, particularly at microtubule plus ends, which is essential for proper cell division and intracellular transport. This localization enables RP1 to interact with other proteins, such as adenomatous polyposis coli (APC) tumor suppressor and EB1 family proteins, which are vital for maintaining cellular structure and function. RP1 interaction with these proteins is critical for regulating β-catenin levels, a key player in cell signaling pathways that, when dysregulated, can lead to cancer progression, particularly in colorectal tumors. RP1 gene is located on human chromosome 18q12.1, and expression is associated with various cellular processes, making RP1 a valuable target for research in cancer biology and cell cycle regulation.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with RP1 (F-11): sc-390375?

    Asked by: jenniferc
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
