Rose Bengal Sodium Salt is a stain used in a variety of applications such as in photosensitizing reactions and as a dye. Rose Bengal Sodium Salt has been used as a photosensitizer in studies evaluating photodynamic susceptibility of planktonic cultures of Streptococcus mutans.
