SEE ALSO...

ROR2 Antibody (H-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ROR2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ROR2 antibody (H-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ROR2, also known as neurotrophic tyrosine kinase receptor-related 2 (NTRKR2), is a single-pass transmembrane tyrosine-protein kinase receptor that plays a crucial role in skeletal and endocrine development. ROR2 is primarily located in the cell membrane, where extracellular immunoglobulin-like domain, cysteine-rich domain, and kringle domain facilitate interactions with various ligands and signaling molecules. This localization is vital for promoting osteoblast differentiation and early chondrocyte formation, which are essential for proper cartilage and growth plate development. Additionally, ROR2 interacts with canonical Wnt1 and Wnt3, influencing their signaling pathways, and sequesters Dlxin-1, thereby affecting transcriptional activity of Msx-2. Defects in ROR2 are associated with significant skeletal disorders, including brachydactyly type B1 and Robinow syndrome, highlighting ROR2′s importance in maintaining skeletal integrity and function.

What is the recommended fixation method for immunofluorescence staining with ROR2 (H-1): sc-374174 monoclonal antibody?

Asked by: Cweed
Thank you for your inquiry. We recommend fixing cells for 5 minutes in -10°C methanol and allowing to air dry. The full protocol can be viewed here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
