QUICK LINKS

Rocaglamide C is a derivative of Rocaglamide (sc-203241) with similar properties. The compound has been observed to have an apoptotic effect on leukemic cells through the mitochondrial pathway. Through differential regulation of FLIPS/L (c-FLIP) and FAS-L expression the compound has been documented to promote activation induced cell death in leukemic T cells through the JNK activation as well as inhibition of NF-κB activation in non-leukemic T cells. Rocaglamide C also retains insecticide activity towards the larvae Spodoptera littoralis (0.8 to 80 ppm).
