Ro 67-4853 is a positive allosteric modulator of mGluR group I receptors (mGluR-1 and mGluR-5) (pEC50 value is 7.16 for the rat mGluR-1a receptor). Ro 67-4853 show activity at all group I receptors and enhances the effects of (S)-DHPG in CA3 neurons (EC50 = 95 nM).
