    SEE ALSO...

Ribosomal Protein L39L Antibody (FB-09) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Ribosomal Protein L39L (RPL39L) of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-RPL39L antibody (FB-09) is available as the non-conjugated format. RPL39L, also known as RPL39L1 or RPL-2, is a 51 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in ribosome assembly and function, essential for protein synthesis in all living cells. RPL39L is specifically expressed in the testis and has been found in various cancer tissues, indicating potential involvement in cellular growth and proliferation. The gene encoding RPL39L lacks introns, suggesting retrotransposition from the X-linked RPL39 gene, which shares 92% amino acid identity. Understanding RPL39L function is important for its contribution to protein synthesis regulation, a fundamental process underpinning cellular function and organismal development.

Can sc-100841: Ribosomal Protein L39L (FB-09) monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?

    Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. Yes, sc-100841: Ribosomal Protein L39L (FB-09) is recommended for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections. We recommend performing antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) and heat. The full protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoperoxidase-staining
