Rhodium(III) oxide (Rh2O3) is an inorganic compound consisting of rhodium and oxygen. It is a rare earth element and finds application as a catalyst in organic reactions, particularly in the selective tandem olefin isomerization-hydrosilylation process. Additionally, it serves as a precursor for the preparation of metal oxide photocatalysts, such as SrTiO3:Rh, used in hydrogen production. Rhodium(III) oxide is also utilized in the synthesis of Rh-doped potassium niobate single crystals.
