RAET1G Antibody (6D10) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects RAET1G of human origin by immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-RAET1G antibody (6D10) is available as the non-conjugated form. RAET1G, also known as retinoic acid early transcript 1G, is a 334 amino acid single-pass type I membrane protein that plays a crucial role in immune response by acting as a ligand for the NKG2-D receptor, which is essential for mediating natural killer (NK) cell cytotoxicity. This interaction is particularly important in tumor surveillance, as RAET1G is highly expressed in colon tissues and various tumor cell lines, enabling NK cells to recognize and eliminate malignant cells. RAET1G differs from other RAET1 proteins by possessing type I membrane-spanning sequences at its C terminus instead of glycosylphosphatidylinositol anchor sequences, which influences localization and function within the immune system. The RAET1G gene, located on human chromosome 6q25.1, contains five exons and spans approximately 6 kb, existing in two alternatively spliced isoforms. With significant similarity to ULBP2 and ability to bind to the cytomegalovirus glycoprotein ULBP, RAET1G is a vital component in the regulation of immune responses, making RAET1G an important target for research in cancer immunology and therapeutic interventions.

I bought the L form of this antibody, sc-53134 L for blocking (neutralization). How long can I store this at in the refridgerator?

Asked by: Randy McDonald
The L form of the antibody should be stored at -20°C. Once thawed, we recommend using as soon as possible, although it is usually stable for up to 2 weeks at 4 degrees.
