Rab 6A Antibody (38-TB) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Rab 6A protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Rab 6A antibody (38-TB) is available as a non-conjugated format. Rab 6A protein plays a crucial role in intracellular transport, particularly in retrograde transport from late endosomes back to endoplasmic reticulum via Golgi apparatus. Rab 6A (38-TB) monoclonal antibody supports research into cellular homeostasis and protein processing pathways. Disruptions in transport mechanisms can lead to various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer, highlighting Rab 6A′s importance in cellular function. As a member of Ras-related superfamily of guanine nucleotide-binding proteins, Rab 6A is ubiquitously expressed and essential for both endocytic and biosynthetic pathways. Three isoforms exist due to alternative splicing: widely expressed Rab 6A and Rab 6A′ isoforms, and brain-specific Rab 6B isoform, each contributing to diverse functions in cellular dynamics.
