Rab 2B Antibody (139.1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the Rab 2B protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Rab 2B antibody (139.1) is available as a non-conjugated format, providing researchers with a reliable tool for studying this important protein. Rab 2B, a member of the Ras-related GTPase superfamily, plays a crucial role in intracellular transport processes, particularly in the movement of proteins from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi apparatus. This transport is essential for proper functioning of cellular processes, ensuring newly synthesized proteins are correctly modified and sorted for final destinations. Rab 2B consists of 216 amino acids and is lipid-anchored to the cytoplasmic side of the cell membrane, which is vital for function in vesicle trafficking.
